We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it to us through our website, email, or WhatsApp. This includes:

2.1 Enquiry and Contact Data

  • Your name and job title
  • Company name and industry
  • Business email address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • The details of your training enquiry (team size, location, topic)

2.2 Programme Participant Data

When your organisation books a training programme, the sponsoring contact may share participant lists containing:

  • Participant names, job roles, and email addresses
  • Pre-training skills assessment responses
  • Post-training assessment results
  • Attendance records

2.3 Website Usage Data

If analytics tools are active, we may collect anonymised data including pages visited, browser type, and general location (country/city level). This data is not linked to your identity.

2.4 Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect sensitive personal data including Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, financial account details, health information, biometric data, or passwords.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Responding to training enquiries — to understand your requirements and provide a programme proposal
  • Delivering training programmes — to communicate logistics, share materials, and issue certificates
  • Post-training support — to follow up with programme resources and answer questions
  • Service improvement — to understand how our training is being used and improve our programmes
  • Legal compliance — to maintain records required by applicable law

We do not use your data for automated profiling or automated decision-making that significantly affects you.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (DPDP Act 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we process personal data on the following grounds:

  • Consent: Where you have explicitly submitted an enquiry form or provided your details
  • Contract performance: Where processing is necessary to deliver a training programme your organisation has engaged us for
  • Legitimate interests: For basic website analytics and service improvement, where this does not override your interests or rights
  • Legal obligation: Where we are required to maintain records by applicable law

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in limited circumstances:

  • Training delivery: With trainers and facilitators engaged to deliver your programme. All such individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Service providers: With trusted third-party tools used to deliver our services (email, video conferencing, CRM) — subject to data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: Where required by a court order, regulator, or applicable law in India.
  • Corporate transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

We do not transfer personal data outside of India except where necessary for internationally hosted services (e.g. video conferencing platforms), and only where adequate safeguards are in place.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Enquiry data: Up to 2 years from the date of last contact, unless a programme engagement follows
  • Programme participant data: Up to 5 years from programme completion date, for certificate verification and post-training support purposes
  • Invoice and financial records: As required by applicable Indian accounting and tax law (typically 7 years)

7. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023

As a data principal under India's DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request confirmation of what personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable legal retention requirements
  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
  • Grievance redressal: Lodge a complaint about how we have handled your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at corporate@technovids.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. This includes access controls, encrypted communications, and limiting data access to those who need it. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and browser storage for the following purposes, depending on your consent choice. You will be shown a consent banner on your first visit. We do not activate non-essential tracking until you accept.

9.1 Essential and Functional Storage (always active)

These are necessary for the site to work correctly. No consent is required:

  • Your cookie consent preference (stored in browser localStorage under tv_cookie_consent)
  • Session state and authentication tokens for the course registration and admin areas
  • Security and fraud-prevention tokens used by our payment processor (Razorpay)

9.2 Analytics (with your consent)

If you accept cookies, we may use the following analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site — which pages are visited, how long people spend on them, and where they navigate from:

  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic and engagement statistics
  • Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session recordings and heatmaps to help us improve page layouts and content

Analytics data is used solely to improve the website and our training content. It is not used for advertising profiling and is not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

9.3 Marketing and Retargeting Pixels (with your consent, when activated)

If you accept cookies, we may use marketing tools to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant content to people who have previously visited our site on other platforms. These tools are not currently active but may be enabled in future:

  • Meta Pixel — tracks conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads and supports retargeting audiences on Meta platforms. Data is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — tracks conversions from LinkedIn campaigns and supports retargeting on LinkedIn. Data is shared with LinkedIn Corporation.

These tools involve cross-site tracking — a small amount of data (such as a hashed identifier or pixel ID) is shared with the respective advertising platform when you visit our site. We will update this policy and notify you before activating any such tool. If you decline cookies, none of these pixels are loaded and no data is shared with advertising platforms.

9.4 Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can decline non-essential cookies by clicking “Decline optional” when the consent banner appears. To change a preference you have already saved:

  • In your browser, go to Settings → Privacy → Site Data (or equivalent) and clear stored data for technovids.com. The consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
  • Alternatively, contact us at corporate@technovids.com and we will clear your stored preference on request.

Note: your consent preference is stored in browser localStorage, not in a traditional browser cookie. Clearing cookies alone may not reset this preference — you need to clear site data or localStorage for technovids.com.

You can also disable all cookies in your browser settings; this may affect some site functionality such as the course registration and payment flow.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. This privacy policy applies only to Technovids. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of linked websites.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at corporate clients and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We will notify active clients of material changes by email.
