What You'll Learn from Certified Scrum Developer Course.

You will be learning the SOLID design principles and design patterns to build loosely coupled applications.
You are going to perform hands-on exercises to design your application using principles.
You are going to perform hands-on exercises to design your application using principles.
Build the strong understanding to build an application with TDD technique. You are going to learn using Junit framework’s mocking by performing TDD exercises.
You will also learn how to integrate developed code with GitHub and running build in Jenkins.

Course Content

Day 1

OOAD Recap, encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism.
Create new Scrum Project.
SOLID Design principles: Single Responsibility Principle, Open-Close Principle, Liskov Principle, Interface Segregation Principle, and Dependency Inversion Principle.
Design Patterns: Factory Pattern, Adaptor Pattern, Singleton pattern, and Observer pattern.
Team Exercise using Design principles, patterns and developing UML Diagrams concerning team member’s day to day applications.

Day2

Unit testing fundamentals recap, the usage of the annotations, benefits of annotations, practical examples of using @Before annotations, and others concerning memory management etc.
Perform maven setup in the file system and integrate with Eclipse.
The example of Data Access Object, Service class to understand how mocking and stubbing works.
Understand Test Driven Development, Why TDD, what are the technical and nontechnical challenges in TDD.
Understand how TDD works in legacy code.
Know how the Finance Loan application is built using TDD approach and team members perform hands-on pair programming.

Day3

Understand why refactoring is needed.
Develop the understanding of how and when to perform Design and code refactoring.
Create a Local Git repository.
Create Remote GitHub.
Push local Git repository to GitHub.
Jenkins Tomcat setup, the creation of jobs in Jenkins, perform maven, and JDK configuration in Jenkins.
Link Jenkins with GitHub and trigger the remote build on Jenkins.
